Why Should You Work With Me?
Tomekia is a graduate of The University of Georgia, with a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science (B.S.F.C.S) Major: Human Development and Family Science, and Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
Tomekia is dedicated to helping people learn to live their best life. She is passionate about working with single-parent households, women and teens. She works with children ages ten years and up, teenagers, and adults. She provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, family conflict, and grief and loss.
Tomekia has worked in community and hospital/healthcare settings for over 15 years as an advocate, counselor, mediator, educator, case manager, facilitator and change agent. Her goal is to enhance human well-being and help meet the needs of her clients.
